Recommended Guidelines… Really?
The guidelines below are simply our strong recommendations based on our Bible-based, Christian theology and convictions. If you are interested, learn more about Our Beliefs. We understand many people (Christian and non-Christian) may disagree with us. We also understand this impacts our revenue. We are OK with that.
We obviously cannot enforce these guidelines. However, we can definitely encourage them and share how important we believe they are for us and you!
Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
#1. For Heterosexual Married Couples, NOT Singles or Dating Couples
This store is intended only for married couples. We actively discourage single individuals or dating couples from using our store. Our products and content invoke and promote Godly sexuality, which does not include personal masturbation or premarital intercourse.
Do not awaken love until the time is right. Song of Songs 2:7
Unmarried people often want to know answers to these questions: “How far is TOO far?” or “How close can we get?” These are the wrong questions. As Christians, our goal is not to get as close to sin as possible. Our goal is to stay as far away from sin as possible.
Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18
#2. Sexual Toys are NOT for ALL Married Couples.
For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. Galatians 5:13-15
Christians have great freedom in and through Jesus Christ. Paradoxically, one of the greatest exercises of freedom is to choose NOT to use it.
You say, “I am allowed to do anything” — but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything.
1 Corinthians 6:12
If browsing this site or trying products leads your or your spouse’s minds or hearts to places of perversion, impurity or inappropriate fantasy… please stop viewing it.
If you or your spouse have a history of sexual abuse or tendencies toward sex / pornography addiction, these products are likely NOT beneficial, helpful or appropriate for you
#3. Your Motivation Matters: Sacrificial Love & Service of Your Spouse
There IS Such a Thing as Inappropriate Sex in Marriage! Products or content at this site should seek to increase your intimacy with your spouse and God. Sexuality should never disrespect, demean, dishonor, harm (physically or emotionally), objectify or shame your spouse. Sex should grow your and your spouse’s holiness.
“People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.” Proverbs 21:2
While your spouse may not know your heart, motives. mind or thought life… God does. Not only does God know our minds and hearts, scripture exhorts us to actively ask God to search our hearts to expose our sin so we can seek his cleansing and forgiveness.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalm 139:23-24
#4. Enjoy Toys WITH Your Beloved, Never Alone
Use toys WITH your spouse. Sexuality is not intended to be experienced alone. Never use these products without the knowledge of and agreement with your spouse. In using these items without your spouse, you could be sinning against yourself, your spouse. You also damage the intimacy and trust in your relationship.
#5. NEVER Coerce, Pressure or Manipulate Your Spouse to “Try Something New”
A married couple’s bed, counter-top, reclining chair, couch, etc should be a safe, comfortable and God-glorifying place, not the source of pain, discomfort or insecurity.
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure… Hebrews 13:4
You should always respect your spouse’s sexual comfort level. Never attempt to force, convince, or pester your spouse to try “something new” for the sake of novelty Each person has their own comfort levels that are defined by their life experiences: family background, previous relationships, body comfort/image and so much more.
#6. Pray & Communicate Openly With Your Spouse
Pray over any purchases made in this store with your partner and use these products and content available on our site to explore your bond together. You should always respect your spouse and their wishes on the products and items you choose.
As it relates to enjoying and experimenting with sexual enjoyment, IF you cannot comfortably communicate openly and honestly about a sexual product or idea… DO NOT TRY OR DO IT!
Also, it is ALWAYS a good idea to have accountability with your spouse, another couple, and same-gender friends / mentors.
#7. HAVE FUN & LOTS of Orgasms!
Blow on my garden and spread its fragrance all around. Come into your garden, my love; taste its finest fruits. I have entered my garden, my treasure, my bride! I gather myrrh with my spices and eat honeycomb with my honey. I drink wine with my milk. Oh, lover and beloved, eat and drink! Yes, drink deeply of your love! Song of Solomon 4:16 – 5:1
Having fun with your spouse and trying new things can be a fantastic way to grow your intimacy. Sex was created on purpose, as a gift to us, by a good God for your pleasure. It is supposed to be sensual, romantic, playful and wonderfully erotic. Get to it!
